Notes

  • This spell, especially in conjunction with Cat's Grace Cat's Grace, is arguably one of the most useful available to characters focused on stealth. Until the Ring of Shadows becomes available, it may be advantageous for rogues and rogue-focused characters wanting to "go solo" to multi-class for the ability to cast this spell, since it:
    • Gives the single highest bonus to stealth available in the game, bolstering its user's ability to skulk about for various purposes (e.g. moving with stealth, sneak attacking, and stealing from other creatures undetected).
    • Is available early in Act One, at character level three (four, for multi-classed rogues).
    • Remains in effect as long as the caster's concentration is unbroken.
  • The incantation for Pass Without Trace is Evanesco, Latin for "I disappear/vanish".
