- This item originally provided the same effect as a regular Headband of Intellect, setting Intelligence to 19. However, this was decreased to 17 to reduced its power.
- Most effective on characters that both need Intelligence as a secondary ability score and also have several other needed ability scores, such as Eldritch Knight Fighters and Arcane Trickster Rogues.
