Mask of Regret is a Lightfoot Halfling member of Auntie Ethel's flock. She is encountered in the Overgrown Tunnel alongside the Mask of Vengeance, Mask of Terror, and Mask of Servitude.

Like the other Masks, the Mask of Vengeance is initially hostile by virtue of wearing a Whispering Mask, placing her under the charming effect of  Part of the Flock.

Act One

If the party manages to encounter her after Ethel was defeated, she will no longer be hostile and will have regained her sanity. She explains that she initially sought out Ethel's aid to cure her mother's dementia.

She alludes to the existence of a hag coven and vows to travel to Baldur's Gate to shore up support for other hag victims.

Act 3 Spoilers! This section reveals details about the story of Baldur's Gate 3.

The "Mask of Regret" can be encountered again as part of the quest Help the Hag Survivors, now named as Hydrangea Wubb.

Mask of Regret must succeed a DC 17  Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of her turns or become affected by Hag's Pawn. If she succeeds the throw, she will pass the turn without harming the party.
