Moonmote is a cantrip (Evocation). It is granted by the Selûne's Spear of Night. This ability decreases enemy movement around you and gives you and your allies extra RadiantRadiant damage.

Description

Illuminate the area around you with wisps of moonish light that make movement difficult for enemies and bolster your allies' damage.

At the start of their turn, each hostile creature within the light must succeed a Wisdom Saving throw or they must treat the lighted area as Difficult Terrain. Each ally within the light deals an additional 1d4RadiantRadiant damage on a hit with melee attacks.

Notes

  • Creates an area called Selune's Blessing: Moonmote Aura that applies Selune's Blessing: Lunar Brand and Selune's Blessing: Moonsnare to creatures inside it and lasts for 10 turns.

Bugs

  • The spell tooltip states that this aura applies only to melee attacks while the condition tooltip states that this aura applies to "attacks". In actuality, it applies to weapon and unarmed attacks, but does not apply to any spells which are also attacks.
