Trident of the Waves image

Trident of the Waves is a +1 Trident. It creates a WaterWater surface around the target and also applies the WetWet condition.

Umberlee, the goddess of the sea, is deeply capricious, intelligent, and not nearly as wet around the edges as her domain might suggest. She often demands sacrificial tribute from sailors, such as their ships, their cargo, and, while she's at it, them.

Notes

  • The water surface is not applied when the weapon is ThrownThrown.

Bugs

  • The weapon's game code indicates this weapon should deal an additional 1d4ColdCold damage, but it is not present when acquired normally; the extra damage can still be acquired by recruiting a hireling, having them equip the trident, dismissing them to the Fugue Plane, and then recruiting them again. The version of the trident the hireling spawns back in with has the additional 1d4ColdCold damage.
