Trip Attack (Ranged) is a Battle Master fighter weapon action. This combat manoeuvre allows the Battle Master to deal damage to enemies with ranged weapons and possibly knock them prone.

Notes

  • The "Until long rest" duration of the prone inflicted by this weapon action does not mean that the target is permanently disabled. The affected target can still spend half of its movement to stand up at the start of its turn. However, if it is prevented from spending movement (e.g. by RestrainedRestrained or FrightenedFrightened), then the creature remains prone indefinitely.

Bugs

  • The in-game tooltip inaccurately states that the prone afflicted by this attack lasts for one turn.
