Quests

Hi Reve, nice to meet you! I'm willing to help with quests, I assume you either took your own quest log as reference or the github page we can find on the Discord server? I see you've filled up most quests objectives already, would you like me to "format" them, with the branchings and all like we can see in Hunt the Devil ? Take care!

Hi there! Happy to have another quester on board. Formatting the objectives would be great - I think the Hunt the Devil page looks like a really nice template. There's also a number of quests from Early Access that have had more info added or changed (ie Free the Artist or most of the companion quests)), so adding and formatting those objectives would be helpful too.

For next steps past objective formatting, there's several things to work on, anything would help immensely:

• Quest rewards
• Disapproval/Approval for companions
• Notable far-reaching consequences or limitations (ie the time-limited nature of quests like Rescue the Grand Duke or Free True Soul Nere)
• Detailed categorization and page linking (ie making sure locations and characters and such are linked on the page - note: only the first reference on the page should be linked)
• Pictures
• Walkthroughs

Quest rewards - almost done?

Hello Reve! With the help of a few people on the Discord server, I managed to find most rewards granted from the quests, so I added them on the related quests. The ones I didn't do were mostly the gold rewards, I didn't find the amounts in the files, so I guess it's gonna be added organically from players. A lot of those seems to grant Illithid Powers, but not sure, since it's tagged as GEN_TADPOLE_POWER, and I haven't dabbled in that in my saves. Here's the list I could compile from the files :

• Raid the Emerald Grove
  • With the tieflings dead, the grove is ours. Pleased, the Absolute granted us new powers. Tonight we celebrate at camp.

  • Nere mentioned that he's planning to go to the temple where he'll pick up the trail of Balthazar, the General's advisor.

  • Disciple Z'rell was impressed that we captured the cleric Isobel. She reminded us that Balthazar is our current priority.

  • Disciple Z'rell was pleased with our successful capture of Nightsong, but was not impressed that the cleric Isobel died. She told us to find Ketheric Thorm on the roof of Moonrise, where he will pass judgement upon us.

• Capture Isobel the Selûnite Cleric
  • We captured Isobel. Z'rell was pleased. She's granted us an audience with Ketheric at the rooftop chapel.(dev comment: Capture Isobel in Last Light for Zrell, Marcus is dead before this quest started)

• Resolve the Abduction

  • Minthara has a creature in her service who can guide us to Moonrise Towers through the mountain pass. (dev comment: Minthara told us how we could travel - node N770 of CAMP_GoblinHuntCelebration_SCO_DrowBetrayal)

For gold rewards :

• Steal a Githyanki Egg
  • We tricked Lady Esther into taking an owlbear egg instead. She thanked us, and rewarded us.

  • We gave Lady Esther the githyanki egg. She appreciated our help and rewarded us.

• Return Rakath's Gold (I found a value of 400 in a table for this one, but this seem very little compared to the 10k in the pouch. Still added it on the page for good measure, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's not the value)
  • Delighted to have his gold back, Rakath rewarded us handsomely.

  • We paid Rakath out of our own pocket to make up the bank's loss. Pleased, he rewarded us handsomely.

  • Alfira was devastated to learn what happened in Moonrise Towers, but thanked us for doing what we could to save her friends.

  • We dealt with the Stone Lord's smugglers. The Guild will be grateful.
