Vision of the Absolute Icon.png

Vision of the Absolute is an uncommon special variant of the Spears family of weapons. It is a simple melee weapon that can be wielded in one hand, or with both hands for extra damage. Its design lends itself well to be thrown at enemies as a projectile. Its design doesn't lend itself to be dual-wielded, even by those with special training in dual-wielding.

The tip of this spear strikes unerringly toward its target's eyes.

Notes and Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • If the description of Absolute Night was not clear enough, this Spear deals extra damage to spiders, spider-like enemies, and other creatures with many eyes.

Spoiler warning! This section reveals details about the story of Baldur's Gate 3.

This is consistent with the positioning of The Absolute in Baldur's Gate 3 as a deific figure in opposition to Lolth, the Drow Queen of Spiders.
