Thisobald begins combat with the {{Cond|Numbed}} condition, making him immune to {{DamageType|Slashing}}, {{DamageType|Piercing}}, and {{DamageType|Bludgeoning}} damage. He will become progressively more drunk ({{Cond|Moderately Inebriated}} and {{Cond|Profoundly Intoxicated}}) as he uses more of his regurgitation attacks until he becomes {{Cond|Blacked Out}} after the third attack. This condition gives him -5 AC and makes him vulnerable to all types of damage.

* A sip from the Brewer's special booze causes him to vomit acid, covering creatures and creating an acid puddle.
The key to defeating Thisobald is to force him to become {{Cond|Blacked Out}}. This generally involves allowing a party member or summoned creature to tank three of his high-damage regurgitation attacks while the rest of the party maintains a healthy distance. Disposable summons such as {{SAI|Find Familiar}} or {{SAI|Conjure Minor Elemental}} are perfect for this job.
* A sip from the Brewer's special booze causes him to vomit ice that can {{Cond|Chilled|Chill}} those it hits.
Once Thisobald has {{Cond|Blacked Out}}, the party should unload all of their highest damaging attacks on him at once, likely killing him in one turn due to his vulnerability to all damage.
|{{DamageInfo|6d8+4|Lightning}}
* A sip from the Brewer's special booze causes him to vomit an electrified fluid that can {{Cond|Stunned|Stun}} those it hits.
The four Blighted zombies will slowly approach the party after the fight begins and can be safely dispatched with ranged attacks before they have much of a chance to do anything.
|{{DamageInfo|6d8+4|Poison}}
* A sip from the Brewer's special booze causes him to vomit a toxic fluid that can {{Cond|Poisoned|Poison}} those it hits.
|* Once per round, Thisobald Thorm can use his Legendary Action, [[# Overflowing Brew|Overflowing Brew]], when his brew changes to make it overflow, dealing 1d6 of the corresponding damage type to nearby enemies.
* The overflow also grants his allies +5 bonus to [[Strength]] or an additional 1d6 damage of the corresponding damage type.
*Legendary Actions restore at the start of each round.
