Kith'rak Voss is a ruthless Githyanki knight in service of his queen, Vlaakith, and rides a red dragon steed named Qudenos.

Chapter One

Kith'rak Voss is encountered at the Mountain Pass, where he arrives on his draconic steed, Qudenos, after his underlings slay several Flaming Fist. If he or his Githyanki underlings are approached, he will interrogate the player about the object of his mission, the Mysterious Artefact, which he believes is a powerful weapon that can be used against the Mind Flayers.

Regardless of how the interrogation ends, Voss will depart on Qudenos once the dialogue has finished.

Spoiler warning! This section reveals details about the story of Baldur's Gate 3.

After completing the Discover the Artefact's Secrets quest, Kith'rak Voss will make a surprise visit when you fast travel or Long Rest outside of the Creche. He will speak directly to Lae'zel, trying to reason with her about the truth of Vlaakith's tyranny after her own recent betray. Further, he will claim to be opposing Vlaakith's reign and how the occupant within the Artefact is the key to her being overthrown. A critical choice must be made in hearing him out or attacking:

• If you chose to listen with him and reason with Lae'zel, he will urge to meet him again in Baldur's Gate.
• Or you can urge Lae'zel to attack him, leading to an optional boss fight. This will have considerable consequences, yet earn you Voss' Silver Sword.
