Vampire Bite is a unique action available to Astarion. It can be used without breaking stealth, deals piercing damage, heals Astarion, and increases Astarion's abilities while debilitating the target.

  • Origin Astarion gets access to Vampire Bite action after completing the prologue and waking up at the beach.
  • Companion Astarion gets access to Vampire Bite action after he is outed as a vampire.

Description

Suck the blood from a living creature to regain Hit Points. The target takes 2d4Damage TypesPiercing damage, unless it is Sleeping Sleeping or you are Hiding.

If the target is Humanoid, you become Happy Happy and the target becomes Bloodless Bloodless.

Biting a creature does not break Stealth.

Notes

  • Biting any of the character origins (unless playing as one) will cause disapproval from the bitten target, biting your Tav is the safest way to gain the Happy condition.
  • Biting Karlach before finishing The Hellion's Heart quest sets Astarion on fire.
  • Biting Gale will poison Astarion, wherein he will remark "You taste like bile! What in the hells is wrong with you?"
