How to learn
Classes:
- Class level 3: Wildheart
Notes
- Any effects that boost jump range like the Athlete feat or Enhance Leap will apply to Diving Strike as well.
- This attack benefits from high ground bonus to attack rolls. Note that this ability requires a 1.5 m / 5 ft elevation over the target, but the high ground bonus requires a slightly higher 2.5 m / 8 ft elevation.
- A stack of two crates is sufficient to get the required 1.5 m / 5 ft height advantage against a target on level ground. It is also sufficient to unlock the +2 high ground bonus to the attack roll.
Bugs
- If this attack misses and Reckless Attack is triggered in response, the attack roll will not actually get rerolled, so it will always still miss. However, if Reckless Attack is already active, the attack roll will be made with Advantage as expected.
