Ghast

Ghasts are an undead creature and non-playable race in Baldur's Gate 3.

Orcus, god of undeath, creates ghasts by infusing ghouls with a particularly baleful dosage of his abyssal energy. Whereas a ghoul is little more than a savage beast, a ghast is cunning and can inspire a pack of ghouls to obey its commands.

About ghasts

Ghasts are similar to Ghouls – sharing a hunched, lean appearance and  Paralysing claw attack – though larger, stronger, and permanently bearing an aura that resists being  Turned. They also have the unique ability to weaponise their stench and cause  Nausea in foes.

Involvement

Ghasts can be found in the Rosymorn Monastery Trail and in Cazador's Dungeon.

Lash out with deadly claws and possibly  Paralyse the target.

CON Save

 Melee: 1.5 m / 5 ft

 Stench ()

Emit the stench of tomb mould and abattoirs to  Nauseate nearby foes.

Nausea can be cleared if targets become  Wet.

 Range: Self

AoE: 2 m / 7 ft (Radius)
