How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 3: Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard, and Circle of the Land (Coast and Underdark)
• Class level 5: Oath of the Ancients (Oath Spell), Oath of Vengeance (Oath Spell), and Gloom Stalker
• Class level 6: College of Lore (via Magical Secrets)
• Class level 8: Arcane Trickster, and Eldritch Knight
• Class level 10: Bard (via Magical Secrets)

Races:

• Character level 5: Githyanki

(Character level is the sum of all class levels for a multi-classed character.)

Granted by items:

• Amulet of Misty Step ( Recharge: Short rest)
• Disintegrating Night Walkers ( Recharge: Short rest)

Other ways to learn:

• Wizards with  Level 2 Spell Slots can scribe a Scroll of Misty Step to their spellbooks.

Notes

The Latin incantations for Misty Step are Inveniam Via ("I will find a way") and Et Alibi ("And elsewhere").
