Primal Stampede

Primal Stampede is a Wildheart barbarian class action only available while using  Rage: Elk Heart, allowing you charge in a line dealing damage to all enemies and knocking them prone.

Description

Charge forward, attacking all enemies in the way and possibly knocking them  Prone.

Available only when  Raging.

Does not provoke Opportunity Attacks.

• The affected creature cannot move or take  Actions,  Bonus Actions, or  Reactions, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
• Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if made within 3 m / 10 ft of the creature.
• A Prone creature must spend half its Movement Speed to stand up.
  • A character with the Athlete feat spends only 1.5 m / 5 ft of Movement Speed to stand up.

Notes

• Hits all enemies and friendly NPCs within a 2 m / 7 ft radius along the charge path.
• This action triggers  Extra Attack and can be used with Extra Attack.
• It is not obvious which bonuses apply to this attack.
  • Attack bonuses work whether they are for unarmed, weapon, or non-specified attacks. For example, attack bonuses from  Gloves of Crushing,  Legacy of the Masters, and  Mutilated Carapace work.
  • Damage bonuses have the following cases:
    • Damage bonuses for weapon, such as in  Legacy of the Masters, do not work.
    • Damage bonuses for unarmed attacks, such as in  Tavern Brawler or in  Helldusk Gloves, surprisingly do not work.
    • Damage bonuses for both unarmed and weapon attacks, such as in  Shadow-Cloaked Ring, work.
    • Damage bonuses for non-specified attacks, such as in  Rhapsody, do not always work. For example, Necrotic damage bonus from  Vampire Ascendant does not work.
  • Other types of bonuses tend to work even if they are just for unarmed attacks. For example,  Bleeding from  Helldusk Gloves works.
  • Perhaps surprisingly, the following bonuses do work with Primal Stampede:
    •  Lethal Weapon
    •  Ring of Mental Inhibition: Mental Fatigue
  • Perhaps surprisingly, the following bonuses do not work with Primal Stampede:
    •  Rage: Elk Heart: damage bonus for unarmed attacks
    •  Armour of the Sporekeeper: Necrotic damage bonus (to the Necrotic damage from  Horns of the Berserker)
    •  Bow of the Banshee: damage bonus for Frightened creatures
    •  Dolor Amarus: damage bonus for critical hits
    •  Infernal Fury: Fire damage bonus
    •  Vampire Ascendant: Necrotic damage bonus
