Herdmaster Skarjall is a Duergar found in Grymforge, trying to use two Deep Rothé to clear rubble. He is the source of the quest Get Past the Rubble.

Notes

As of v4.1.1.4763283, there is a glitch that can occur when looting Herdmaster Skarjall's body after his death. Taking his Whipping Cane does not add the Whipping Cane to the player's inventory. Instead it creates a duplicate of the Scale Mail in his inventory, allowing one to acquire unlimited scale mail.
