Hunter's Mark

Hunter's Mark is a level 1 divination spell. This spell allows spellcasters to mark a creature as their prey and deal additional Physical damage to the targeted creature.

Description

Mark a creature as your quarry to deal an additional 1d6PhysicalDRS damage whenever you hit it with a weapon attack.

If the target dies before the spell ends, you can use  Reapply Hunter's Mark to mark a new creature.

At higher levels

Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.

• Affected entity suffers an additional 1d6Weapon damage if the spellcaster hits it with a weapon attack.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class Level 2: Ranger

• Class Level 3: Oath of Vengeance Paladin

• Class Level 6: College of Lore Bard (via Magical Secrets)

• Class Level 10: Bard (via Magical Secrets)

Granted by the following items:

• Grymskull Helm ( Recharge: Long rest)
• Hunting Shortbow ( Recharge: Long rest)

Notes

• The damage bonus from this spell is treated as a "DRS" with thrown weapon attacks only
• In Early Access Hunter's Mark wasn't working properly with  Colossus Slayer due to a bug.
