Cold Snap is a rare Dagger which chills enemies that attack and miss the wielder; it also increases the wielder's Armour Class if used in the off-hand.
In the steel, you can see small ice formations like bubbles in a bath, and even hear them pop with crickling crackles of frosted delight.

Notes
- Cold damage from this weapon is not applied if Thrown.
- Ferg Drogher does not sell any items (including this one) if Shadowheart is in the party, unless she killed the Nightsong earlier in Act Two.
Bugs
Regarding Chilling Counter:
- The in-game description for Chilling Counter says there is a DC 13 Constitution saving throw, but in fact there is no saving throw to avoid the effect. Chilled will be applied on every single missed attack.
