Draconic Ancestry

Draconic Ancestries are a set of related passive features available to Dragonborn and Draconic Bloodline sorcerers. The subclass versions of these ancestries are similar to, but distinct from, the racial versions.

Dragonborn race

Each subrace of dragonborn has a Draconic Ancestry which grants resistance to the associated elemental damage type.

Draconic Bloodline sorcerer

At level 1, Draconic Bloodline sorcerers select a Draconic Ancestry which grants a spell associated with the bloodline and later, damage resistance and damage bonus with the associated elemental damage type. If the sorcerer is also a dragonborn, this ancestry does not need to match the dragonborn's racial ancestry.

Bronze	Lightning	Lightning is the damage type associated with your dragon ancestor.	Fog Cloud
