Exceptional Training

Exceptional Training is a Beast Master Ranger passive feature that enhances your companion. They can now take several common actions as bonus actions.

Description

Your summoned companions can now  Dash,  Disengage, and  Help as a  Bonus Action.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 7: Beast Master

Used by creatures:

• Aranea Aculeata, Corvus Celer, Funglesby, Lupus Optumus, Sharran Spider, Sharran Wolf, Sharran Wolf (Viconia), Ursa Ingens, Verres Calamitosus

Bugs

• If a companion uses  Dash (bonus action) first then that companion will not be able to use (the standard version of)  Dash after. However, if a companion uses  Dash first then they will be able to use  Dash (bonus action) after. This is because companions use a version of Dash unique to NPCs (Shout_Dash_NPC) which is unusable when the creature is already affected by the  Dash condition.
