Gain  Dash immediately and as a bonus action on each of your turns until this spell ends.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 1: Sorcerer, Warlock, and Wizard
• Class level 3: Arcane Trickster, and Eldritch Knight

Granted by features:

•  Magic Initiate: Sorcerer
•  Magic Initiate: Warlock
•  Magic Initiate: Wizard

Other ways to learn:

• Wizards can scribe a  Scroll of Expeditious Retreat to their spellbooks.

Bugs

• Expeditious Retreat lacks the second-level of Dash-stacking functionality found on other Dash abilities.
• Expeditious Retreat lacks the Dash SpellCategory, and will not trigger passives found on items such as  Linebreaker Boots or  The Speedy Lightfeet.
  • The subsequently granted  Dash (bonus action) correctly triggers these passives.
