Restoration
Mechanics[edit section | visual editor]
Using Restoration provides active party members with the full benefits of a long rest. Restoration fully heals the party, restores all spell slots, replenishes class-specific resources such as Bardic Inspiration and Channel Divinity Charges, and recharges all actions, including those granted by equipment. It does not end ongoing effects or conditions that are described as lasting until the next long rest, nor does it reset the number of short rests which can be taken before the next long rest.
In Honour Mode, Restoration locations can only be used once before being exhausted, with the exception of the Restoration pod in the Mind Flayer Colony and the Restoration Faucet in the House of Hope; these two both refresh after approximately 6 seconds, and also upon on saving and reloading. In all other difficulty settings, Restoration can be used without limit. In tactician and honour mode, fewer restoration locations are available; see below below for details. In Custom difficulty these locations are controlled by the "Additional Combat Mechanics" setting.
