Self-Detonate is a free action used by Steel Watchers and Hellfire Watchers. This ability is triggered when the the Steel Watcher is destroyed, causing it to explode and deal heavy FireFire damage that ignores resistances and immunities. It can also be triggered through Self-Detonation ProtocolSelf-Detonation Protocol after a one round delay.

Description

Explode in a burst of raging hellfire - eliminate all nearby wrongdoers.

Prerequisite Icon.pngHellfire ignores Resistance and Immunity to FireFire damage.

Bugs

  • Despite the tooltip stating the explosion ignores resistance to FireFire damage, only when used by Hellfire Watchers is this the case.
  • Combat logs show no record of a DEX saving throw. Characters with EvasionEvasion appear to always take half damage; characters without a comparable passive take full damage (subject to resistance). Resistance and evasion can stack for quarter damage for normal Steel Watchers only. Reactions such as Shield Master: Block will never trigger.
