Hellfire Watcher

Hellfire Watchers are a type of Steel Watcher found in the Steel Watch Foundry in Baldur's Gate.

Overview

Hellfire Watchers are similar to Steel Watchers except for having a few additional attacks. As many as five of them can be encountered in the game; two of them appear on the lab level to monitor the Gondians, while three guard the control centre alongside the  Steel Watcher Titan.

Combat

Each Hellfire Watcher wields a  Watcher Greatsword. Those who guard the Titan Watcher are armed with  Watcher Crossbows as well. Neither weapon drops when the Hellfire Watcher dies.

 Debilitating Shot ()

Damage: 9~36

3d10 + 6⁠Piercing

Fire a hefty ballista bolt that may  Pin Down the target.

 Hellfire Exhaust ()

Damage: 6~48

3d8⁠Fire

+ 3d8⁠Fire

Vent a gout of hellfire from your engine. Any already  Burning creatures caught in the blast take an extra 3d8Fire damage.

 Main Hand Attack ()

Damage: 7~40

3d12 + 4⁠Slashing

Strike with a colossal blade to knock a target  Prone and  Maim them.

 Range: 3 m (10 ft)

 Reposition Malefactor ()

Damage:

1/2 Normal weapon damage

Pulls the creature 9 m / 30 ft closer to you.

 Self-Detonate

Damage: 30~74

4d12 + 26⁠Fire

Explode in a burst of raging hellfire - eliminate all nearby wrongdoers.

•  Roiling Hellfire
•  Surprised
•  Unconscious conditions, such as  Sleeping and  Prone
