Stunning Gaze

Stunning Gaze is a bonus action used by some Bhaalists which stuns a target. It can also be acquired by The Dark Urge from  A Most Bloody Inheritance.

Description

Targets one creature it can see within 18 m (60 ft). The target must succeed a  Wisdom Saving Throw or be  Stunned until the end of its next turn.

Tactician difficulty: This action does not require concentration.

• Affected creatures automatically fail Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
• Removed by Freedom of Movement, Greater Restoration, Unshackling Strike.
• Attack Rolls against affected creatures have Advantage.

Notes

• The version that can be acquired by The Dark Urge is limited to once per short rest.
• A creature cannot be affected by Stunning Gaze for multiple turns in a row. When the stun is applied, it is also given a two turn grace period during which it cannot be targeted by Stunning Gaze again.
• The  Stunned condition applied by this action is technically distinct from the normal version of the condition. As such,  Helm of Balduran does not grant immunity to Stunning Gaze.
