The wielder doubles their Proficiency Bonus when rolling ranged attacks with this weapon, unless they have Disadvantage.

Notes

Regarding Improved Critical:

• Improved Critical also applies to all attacks, not just those made with the corresponding weapon.
• Improved Critical stacks with features that increase critical hit range. This includes multiple copies of Improved Critical itself (with both  Bloodthirst and  The Dead Shot equipped) or similar features like Organ Rearranger (from  Knife of the Undermountain King). Regarding Keen Attack:

• The Keen Attack feature adds the wielder's proficiency bonus to the attack roll, even if the character is not proficient with longbows.
