Area of Effect spells and attacks such as {{SAI|Chain Lightning}} or {{SmRarityItem|Arrow of Many Targets}} can kill several of them in a single turn.
Alternatively, the party can use {{SAI|Heroes' Feast}} before ascending the Brain Stem, since its {{Advantage}} on Wisdom saving throws counteracts {{SAI|Psionic Suggestion}}.

The Dream Guardians typically spend their turn using Psionic Suggestion Psionic Suggestion (a unique spell similar to Command Command) to control the party's actions and Fleeting Dream Fleeting Dream to reposition themselves.

Tactics[edit | edit source]
