Mourning Frost is a very rare, lightly enchanted (+1) special variant of the Quarterstaves family of weapons. It is a simple melee weapon that can be wielded in one hand, or with both hands for extra damage.
The air around this staff crackles with a cold, frosty wind - a power that has been divided for too long, and is waiting to be released.

- Icy Metal - looted from Xargrim the Pale Corpse within the Myconid Colony, in the secret area unlocked by completing the quest Defeat the Duergar Intruders X: 50 Y: 75 or by casting Knock.
- Icy Crystal - carried by Filro the Forgotten near the Sussur Tree.
