Notes

  1. It's not clear as to how Lewis Morell joined the Cult of the Absolute as his dialogue mention both personal motivations to abandon Baldur's Gate, his loyalty to the Absolute, and his hopes that the party fails in their endeavors, but also that his adherence to the cult was nevertheless not by choice.
  • Lewis Morell is one of two corpses in High Hall that can be spoken to through Speak with Dead Speak with Dead. The other being a Flaming Fist named Halfar Halfar.
  • According to developer's notes, it's likely that Lewis Morell's dialogue was meant to let curious players know that leading a frontal assault into High Hall would be dangerous, and to give them a subtle hint as to the whereabouts of a secret underground passage used by the Absolutists.
