Exterior

Raphael will be waiting for the party near the entrance, practising his monologue for the player. If Astarion is present, he will ask Raphael about his back markings. Raphael says he will help Astarion in return for killing someone in the Mausoleum for him. Either way, this will begin the quest Kill Raphael's Old Enemy.

Interior

Past the iron fence, is a talking skull telling any intruders to leave, including Minthara. Interacting with it does nothing.

Nearby is Melodia Thorm's sarcophagus, as wel as part one of Ketheric Thorm’s diary. Part two is found in the west wing.

The east wing has a symbol of Myrkul ( DC 18 Religion check) and a locked Traveller’s Chest at X: -259 Y: -882. It has a lockpicking DC of 14 and contains the Vivacious Cloak.

The North Wing has a plaque here reveals that Isobel is Ketheric’s daughter and that the tomb here belongs to her. Successful DC 10 Perception check here will reveal traps on the vents and tiles on the floor, as well as gargoyle heads on the walls, all around the room. Disarming them is generally DC 10.

To move further in the mausoleum, press the buttons below the three paintings around the room in the right order:

  1. Moonrise Towers painting
  2. Grief painting
  3. Ketheric Thorm’s painting.

This will open up the walls beside the Ketheric Thorm painting.

Interact with the Traversal Gem to travel to the Gauntlet of Shar.
