Detect Thoughts is a level 2 divination spell. This spell allows spellcasters to telepathically link to unprotected minds and hear the thoughts of targeted creatures while talking to them.

Mask of Soul Perception. Recharge: Short rest - When attempting to use Detect Thoughts on an NPC, an Intelligence Ability Check is rolled. On a failure, the NPC may become hostile.
