Speak with Animals is a level 1 divination spell. This spell allows spellcasters to understand and talk to beasts and animals for a day.

Gain the ability to comprehend and verbally communicate with beasts.

How to learn
Classes:
- Class Level 1: Bard , Druid , and Nature Domain Cleric
- Class Level 3: Oath of the Ancients Paladin , and Wildheart Barbarian
Races:
- Character level 1: Forest Gnome
(Character level is the sum of all class levels for a multi-classed character.)
Notes
- Wildheart Barbarians can cast Speak with Animals once per Long Rest.
- Forest Gnomes can cast Speak with Animals at will.
- Warlocks who choose Beast Speech as one of their Eldritch Invocations can cast Speak with Animals at will.
