Where to find

Usage

  • This item can be administered to the six Petrified Drow (ArcaghArcagh, ArtimeztArtimezt, DhournDhourn, IzwaeIzwae, MoyMoy, and TecothyTecothy) in the Underdark.
  • This item can be administered to the three Petrified Debtors in Hope's Prison. Doing so, however, turns them into dust and lets them disappear.

Notes

  • Unlike most potions, Basilisk Oil cannot be directly consumed by the user, but must instead administered to another creature or ThrownThrown.
  • To get the Basilisk Oil in the Arcane Tower, the party must first obtain Guiding Light to get to the basement of the building. Alternatively, the party can pass a perception check along the eastern wall on the top floor of the Arcane Tower, revealing a lever that unlocks a path to the basement from the ground floor of the tower.
