Each framed facet of the lantern glass is pierced by lances and long tendrils of eerily beautiful moonlight.

Where to find

One can be found in Balthazar's room in Moonrise Towers.

One can be looted from Kar'niss in the Ruined Battlefield, or is given by Isobel at the Last Light Inn if you let the Harpers take the Moonlantern. ^{[See Notes]}

Notes

• The Moonlantern carried by Kar'niss contains a foul-mouthed pixie named Dolly Dolly Dolly who wants out. If you free her, she'll grant you a  Pixie Blessing.
• If the party is escorted to Moonrise Towers by Kar'niss, Dolly Dolly Dolly will be dead inside the lantern.

• If the party instead kills Kar'niss and follows the Harpers back to Last Light Inn, Isobel will give you the same Moonlantern with Dolly Dolly Dolly alive inside. Equip and inspect the Moonlantern to free her she'll grant you the  Pixie Blessing.
• Switching to ranged weapons while having a Moonlantern equipped retains the Moonshield effect but removes the illumination, allowing darkness-requiring effects such as Covert Critical and Shadow Step to be safely used within the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
