Shield is a level 1 abjuration spell. This spell allows spellcasters to avoid being hit by an enemy attack at the last possible instant. It also completely nullifies Magic Missile.
Description
When you are about to be hit by an enemy, use your Reaction to increase your Armour Class by 5. You also take no damage from . These effects last until the start of your next turn.

Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.

- This spell can trigger under a Sussur Flower Antimagic Field and Barbarian's Rage.
- This spell does not grant charges because the actual triggering spell, which is an "interrupt", lacks the necessary Abjuration spell school.
