Tactics[edit | edit source]

Redcaps are dangerous enemies to cross early in Act One due to their high Strength and Hit Points. They will likely receive Bloodlust from a Blood Sage, allowing them to Multiattack. Their dropkick knocks enemies down and they gain Advantage against bleeding foes, which can be caused by Blood Sages.

While powerful combatants, they lack resistance to most spells and abilities that target Dexterity, Intelligence, and Wisdom. Ranged attacks work well against them because they need to traverse Difficult Terrain to reach the party.
