Grukkoh is a bugbear in Act One. He can be found in the Forest, north of the Blighted Village with his companion Buthir Buthir.

Act One[edit | edit source]

Grukkoh is in a barn next to the Blighted Village, where he and Buthir enjoy a private moment. Should the party interrupt, a cut scene triggers, after which they both become hostile.

The following responses avoid combat:

  • [BARBARIAN] [INTIMIDATION] I'M LAUGHING AT YOUR PUNY RUTTING. (DC 15)
  • [BARD] [PERSUASION] Do carry on. There's bookshops in Baldur's Gate that'd pay well for this kind of smut. (DC 15)

Companion approval[edit | edit source]

  • The player character opens the door after a party member warns them not to. Astarion approves +1 Karlach disapproves -1 Shadowheart disapproves -1 Wyll disapproves -1
  • The player character fulfills Astarion Astarion's request to open the door instead. Astarion approves +5 Karlach disapproves -1 Shadowheart disapproves -1
