Agility, reflexes, and balance.Dexterity is an ability score and a key ability of Rogues, Rangers, Monks, and other wielders of finesse weapons.
Dexterity affects your Acrobatics, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth skills, as well as your attack rolls for ranged weapons and finesse weapons. It also affects your Initiative and Armour Class.

Sets Dexterity
The following item set the user's Dexterity score to the specified value. It will have no effect if the user's Dexterity score is higher without it:
- Gloves of Dexterity: sets Dexterity to 18
Increases Dexterity
The following items increase Dexterity while equipped:
- The Graceful Cloth increases Dexterity by +2 (up to 20), grants advantage on Dexterity checks.
- Nimblefinger Gloves: +2 Dexterity for gnomes, +1 Dexterity for halflings and dwarves. (No limit)
The following sources permanently increase a character's Dexterity score:
- Auntie Ethel's Hair permanently increases Dexterity by +1
- The Mirror of Loss permanently increases Dexterity by +2 (up to 24)
