Involvement
Faril can be found guarding the door to the lower levels of the Counting House in the Lower City. She will ask for a Vault Pass, and the party can either obtain one from Head Clerk Meadhoney and present it or attempt to bribe Faril to access the vaults:
- [PERSUASION] All that gold you guard, and you never get a taste of it yourself? Seems unfair. (5000) (DC 18)
- [DECEPTION] You've had stranger visitors than me today. I won't be noticed, and you can make a tidy profit. (DC 18) (if spoken to Meadhoney and learned about the cultists)
- [DECEPTION] My pass was stolen. Truly. This is all the coin I have left. (5000) (DC 20)
- [INTIMIDATION] You can make some gold, or die guarding someone else's. Choose. (1000) (DC 30)

Forstum will ocassionally chat with Faril:
Cashguard Basher Forstum: Glitterbeard was in a mood just now.
- Cashguard Captain Faril: A mood? Mate, he was nervous.
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: What for? The big bald fellow he was escorting?
- Cashguard Captain Faril: With the half-elf, aye. New clients, maybe? Either way, Glitterbeard was fit to fill his trousers.
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: Heh. Just as well he's going down to special deposits.
- Cashguard Captain Faril: All right. Calm down.
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: Heh. Just as well he's going down to special deposits.
- Cashguard Captain Faril: With the half-elf, aye. New clients, maybe? Either way, Glitterbeard was fit to fill his trousers.
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: What for? The big bald fellow he was escorting?
Cashguard Basher Forstum: Agh.
- Cashguard Captain Faril: What's wrong with you now?
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: Shoulder. Glitterbeard kept checking this one chest in the vault, over and over - nearly dropped a door on me. Mustn't have seen me.
- Cashguard Captain Faril: Or maybe he did.
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: Shoulder. Glitterbeard kept checking this one chest in the vault, over and over - nearly dropped a door on me. Mustn't have seen me.
Cashguard Basher Forstum: Mark the notice in the barracks, by the way. The anti-magic whatsit is banjaxed.
- Cashguard Captain Faril: Aye, I heard. Word is the Gondian guild has downed tools and gone walkabouts.
- Cashguard Basher Forstum: Striking, I bet. Lazy gits. Wish I could go on strike.
