Nickelow

Cashguard Basher Nickelow, is a human member of the Cashguard located in The Counting House in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate. She can be found guarding the lower gate to the vaults next to Cashguard Artillerist Dadger.

Involvement

Attempting to pass Nickelow will result in the party being asked for their vault pass. The party can either show theres if they have one, or attempt to talk/bribe their way through:

• [DECEPTION] I'm with the group that came down just before me. (DC 18) (if the party knows about the cultists)

• [PERSUASION] The city depends on me getting down there. I really don't have time to explain. (DC 25)
• [PERSUASION] Do you accept cash instead? (5000) (DC 15)

Cashguard Artillerist Dadger: You ever seen anyone actually raid this place?

• Cashguard Basher Nickelow: Nah. None of us have.
  • Cashguard Artillerist Dadger: What, it's never been robbed?
    • Cashguard Basher Nickelow: If it has, I doubt the guards get to stick around to tell about it.

Cashguard Artillerist Dadger: We'll be pulling a late one tonight.
