Protection from Evil and Good is a level 1 abjuration spell. It allows spellcasters to surround themselves with magical protection against Aberrations, Celestials, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, and Undead.

Description

Protect an ally against the attacks and powers of Aberrations, Celestials, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, and Undead.

The targets can't be Charmed Charmed, Frightened Frightened, or possessed by them[See: Bugs], and when these creatures attack it, they have Disadvantage Icon.png Disadvantage.

Notes

  • This spell both negates existing Frightened Frightened condition and prevents its recipient from becoming Frightened.
  • This spell prevents negative effects of the Part of the Flock debuff incurred by the Whispering Mask.

Bugs

  • Immunity is not provided against Charm Charm.
  • The immunity to frightened and possession is against any source, not just the listed creature types.
