Staff of Cherished Necromancy is a very rare, moderately enchanted (+2) variant of the Quarterstaves family of weapons. It is a simple melee weapon that can be wielded in one hand, or with both hands for extra damage.
Unlike their father, Thibault, Cherish Hollow was not afraid of zombies. Cherish was afraid of sharks, liquorice, wallpaper, Netherese artifacts, hats (large), the outdoors, the indoors, hats (small), and milk pails. Zombies were a bloody picnic.

Notes
- Prior to Patch #6, harvested life essence wouldn't be consumed after casting a necromancy spell. This highly abusable bug allowed wielders to cast one free necromancy spell per turn, up to spell level 6, after killing only one creature.
