Thunderwave

Thunderwave is a level 1 evocation spell. This spell allows spellcasters to project out a deafening force that can hit multiple creatures and objects. Creatures hit by this force are potentially pushed away from the spellcaster.

Description

Release a wave of thunderous force that pushes away all creatures and objects in an area, while also dealing Thunder damage.

At higher levels

Upcast: Casting this spell at a higher level deals an extra 1d8Thunder damage for each Spell Slot Level above 1st.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class Level 1: Bard , Druid , Sorcerer , Wizard , and Tempest Domain Cleric

• Class Level 3: Arcane Trickster Rogue , and Eldritch Knight Fighter

Notes

• Also granted by Ring of Absolute Force.
• This spell is automatically given to the Storm Sorcery Sorcerer Sorcerer at level 6.
• If an affected creature passes the Saving throw, in addition to only taking half damage, they are also not pushed back.
