Elemental Affinity: Resistance is a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer passive feature/reaction that grants you Resistance to the element matching your Draconic Bloodline

Description

When you cast a spell that deals damage matching your draconic ancestry, you can spend a Sorcery Point to gain Resistance to that damage type.

  • The code does not specifically check that a damaging spell is cast, only that an action flagged with the appropriate elemental type is used. This causes the reaction to trigger on many more actions than would otherwise be expected. Additionally, the code does not check that the caster is lacking the resistance before prompting the reaction, potentially wasting a Sorcery Point.
