- Can't move or take Actions, Bonus Actions, or Reactions, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity Saving Throws.
- Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if they're made within 3 m (10 ft) of the creature.
- At the end of its turn or when it takes damage, the entity can try to shake off the effect.

- Hideous Laughter uses Prone as a parent status, and as such inherits the following status groups:
SG_Prone, SG_Condition, SG_Unconscious. Legendary Resistance: Incapacitation, via the scriptAppliesCrowdControlStatus(), checks forSG_ProneandSG_Unconsciousand as such correctly triggers on cast attempts for Hideous Laughter. - Unlike ordinary prone, this condition cannot be cleared with the Help action.
