Justiciar's Scimitar is a very rare +2 Scimitar weapon that can blind an opponent if the wielder strikes with Advantage. It also grants the Shadowsoaked Blow weapon action.
This light, curved blade is as unusual and unforgiving as the Darkness it strikes from.

Special
The holder of this item gains:
- Shadow-Blinding
- If you attack with Advantage, you have a chance to Blind your target.[See: Bugs]
- Shadow Blade
- You have Advantage on Attack rolls against Lightly or Heavily Obscured targets when using this blade.
Weapon actions
If you have proficiency, equip in main hand to gain:
- Backbreaker ()
- Put extra force behind your strike to possibly knock your enemy Prone. ( Recharge: Short rest.)
- Flourish ()
- Feint an attack to possibly throw your opponent . ( Recharge: Short rest.)
Special weapon actions
This weapon also grants the following:
- Shadowsoaked Blow ()
- Strike an enemy, adding your proficiency bonus to the damage. Moreover, if the attack hits, it deals an additional 1d6Psychic damage. This attack doesn't break concealment. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

Notes
- This weapon does not have a proficiency classification, and does not require proficiency in Scimitars to use.
Regarding Shadow-Blinding:
- Despite the tooltip not stating so, Shadow-Blinding applies only to attacks made with with the weapon that has this feature.
Regarding Shadow Blade (passive feature):
- While active, Shadow Blade provides Advantage to both mainhand and off-hand equipped melee weapons.
Bugs
- Due to the missing proficiency classification, this weapon cannot be used to activate Bladesong when equipped in the mainhand weapon slot, although equipping it does not apply Bladesong Impeded (Condition).
- This issue does not occur when equipped in the offhand weapon slot.
- This weapon has a hidden version of the Shadow Blade applied to it, which grants advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls while active, including weapon attack rolls for another equipped melee weapon while dual-wielding.
Regarding Shadow-Blinding:
- In Honour mode, this feature is non-functional.
Regarding Shadow Blade (passive feature):
- Prior to Patch 8 Hotfix 1, Shadow Blade granted advantage to all attack rolls when active. This was changed to require any melee weapon attack.
