Emerging like a horrible gift from the envelope of darkness and shadow, you ambush and put down your foes before they can even scream.
Gloom Stalker is a Subclass of Ranger. Gloom Stalkers specialise in taking out foes swiftly and ruthlessly from the shadows, gaining damage bonuses and increased movement speed.

Subclass Features[edit | edit source]

Ranger's default armour
This subclass obtains all the features from its base class, Ranger, in addition to its unique features outlined below.

Level 3

You gain the following spell. It is Always Prepared:

Use an Action to wrap yourself in shadows to become Invisible Invisible for 10 turns if you are Obscured.
Superior Darkvision Superior Darkvision
You can see in the dark up to 24 m / 80 ft.

Dread Ambusher Dread Ambusher
You specialise in taking out foes swiftly and ruthlessly. You gain a +3 bonus to Initiative. On the first turn of combat, your Movement Speed increases by 3 m / 10 ft, and you can make an extra attack that deals an additional D8 Physical.png1d8 damage.

Make a melee attack that deals an extra 1d8Damage TypesPhysical damage.
