The Mind Flayer Colony is a location you can find from the Oubliette under the Moonrise Towers Prison in the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Chapter Two. You can access this area once you have faced Ketheric Thorm for the first time on the Moonrise Towers Rooftop.

If you arrive here from the Moonrise Towers Rooftop, destroy the membrane and move forward. There will lots of Intellect Devourers running around the colony. They are not hostile.
There are a number of sub areas to the colony:
- Morgue - You'll find Us here if they weren't destroyed on the Nautiloid. You can free Us to get the item Summon Us.You'll also meet Chop here.
- Necrotic Laboratory - In the South East (X:715 Y:-49). This area has lots of undead and a brain mapping problem to get access to the Blade of Oppressed Souls and a wall decoration talking about the Mind Flayer Grand Scheme. Near the Blade of Oppressed Souls you will find a brain jar called Waking Mind that you need to insert into the nearby Mind-Archive Interface (X:699, Y:-117) and talk to the Slack-Skinned Head to gain a permanent buff - Githzerai Mind Barrier if you purge the mind.
