Chapter One

Abdirak is a servant of the Maiden of Pain, Loviatar. Abdirak resides inside the Shattered Sanctum next to the torture room. He offers the player peace and serenity through pain. If accepted, Abdirak will strike the player several times. If he is pleased with their performance, he will bless them with the Permanent Bonus, Loviatar's Love Loviatar's Love. To gain the Permanent Bonus, Loviatar's Love Loviatar's Love, you will need to be hit three times, and pass each subsequent constitution/performance/intimidation rolls while staying above 40% hp.

Notable Loot

Notes

  • You can read On Receiving Her Grace on the nearby table to unlock a dialogue option "I saw your book. Let me try some of those techniques." which will allow you to choose which tool, (mace, knife, or axe) he uses which changes the damage type inflicted.
    • If you've ventured into the Underdark and obtained the Amulet of the Unworthy from one of the Minotaurs (easiest via the Zhentarim Basement), you can combine the amulet's slashing resistance with the axe option to reduce the damage taken, but not the DC required to pass.
