Apostate Sentinel

Apostate Sentinels are reanimated skeletons that serve BalthazarBalthazar in the Shadowfell during Act Two.

If Balthazar has not been defeated yet, the party can encounter him as they enter the Shadowfell via the Gauntlet of Shar. Once the party members reach the NightsongNightsong, it is revealed that the Nightsong is a person named Aylin. If the player character refuses to let Balthazar take her away, Balthazar raises a number of Apostate DefendersDefenders, DestroyersDestroyers, LibrariansLibrarians and Sentinels from the various piles of bones surrounding the Nightsong and then attacks the party.
